Chestnut Street Playhouse is one of the hottest tickets in town! With multiple sold-out shows and events, and another extremely successful year underway, the organization is focused on community connections while providing quality performing arts and educational opportunities.

Each year, the golf tournament proceeds help to maintain the historic building and real estate enabling Chestnut Street Playhouse to focus on their amazing theatrical productions All funds from this tournament go to the operational costs of the building.
​
Thanks to grant support from the State of Connecticut as well as many of our loyal supporters, the historic building of the Chestnut Street Playhouse is now fully sprinklered and is in full compliance with fire safety codes for the first time since the 1870s! We have also renovated the second floor and now have space for offices, rehearsing, and meetings. The main floor has also seen extensive work done including the concession stand and improving the backstage areas as well as the storage and workshops.

Chestnut Street Playhouse is working to keep all of its productions and programs affordable for the Norwich community. Fund-raising events such as this tournament are vital to the success of those efforts.
